Custom mini sessions are NEW this year and give you the flexibility of date and location, while also giving you a bit more time! This is a great option for families with small children, people who want a special location, or even senior and engagement portrait sessions.

6. What if I would like a longer session?
If you are looking for a full length family, engagement, or senior session, please email me at karen@karenshoufler.com and I will send you a full session brochure and a link to book your full length session.
5. What happens if my kid ends up sick the day of our session?
You are allowed one reschedule at no charge due to illness or emergency. I understand things happen! If you need to reschedule again, it's a $50 reschedule fee to lock in another date on my calendar.
4. Where will the sessions be held?
These sessions give you flexibility with location in the Chicago area and Central Illinois. Choose the family farm, a special location, your favorite park, or reach out to me and we will work together to dream up the perfect spot for your session.
3. It rains a lot in the spring. What happens if it rains on our session date?
We will work together to find a date that works for you in the case of inclement weather.
2. How many photos will we receive in our gallery?
Most mini session galleries will contain 40-75 photos from your session time. Your mini session package includes your choice of 15 digital images, with the option to purchase the rest after your gallery is posted.
1. How many people can be in our photos?
These sessions allow a bit more flexibility in number of people. It is still recommended for immediate families only, but adding grandparents or families with multiple kids would work!
